Travellers moved on from Heath Common - Yorkshire

A group of Travellers who set up camp on Heath Common have been moved on.

They set up the camp on Sunday and told police they would only be staying a few days as they were travelling back from Appleby.

Officers from the Normanton and Featherstone neighbourhood police team served them with a Section 61 notice and they were given until 4pm on Monday to leave.
