Hull City Council is seeking a court order to have Travellers removed from a site off Anlaby Road.
About a dozen caravans moved on to the old Riley College site, in Parkfield Drive, yesterday. Half their number have since left and the council will go to the courts tomorrow to obtain an order for the removal of those who remain.
