This morning people who live on the Monkwick estate in Colchester of are waking up to a number of caravans which have appeared on the field adjacent to Mersea road and Queen Elizabeth way. According to some reports on Twitter, the Travellers broke part of the fence to gain access to the green area. This morning in appears that there are 12 caravans and a number of children are running around.
