Irish Travellers have set up camp in the Waitrose car park in Marlborough.
Police were told by a member of the public that gipsies had moved onto land in George Lane and Hillers Lane yesterday.
A second group of Travellers arrived and set up an illegal camp in the same area this morning.
There are four caravans on the land, which have all been served with notices asking them to leave.
