PLYMOUTH City Council has declared it will not provide bins and toilets for Gypsies or Travellers if they arrive at a site on the weekend.
During a cabinet meeting councillors voted unanimously to support the recommendation, proposed as part of a raft of measures for the management of Gypsy and Traveller Unauthorised Encampments.
Cabinet member, Councillor Chris Penberthy, said the recommendation was a “difficult one” to make, but said the extra cover would cost “tens of thousands” every year.
