A ruling to evict a Gypsy family from an area of land has been quashed.
An inspector for the Secretary of State has overruled Hambleton District Council’s decision to deny proposals for a private one-family Gypsy site in Potto, near Hutton Rudby.
He also quashed two enforcement notices issued by the council to force the family out and for them to return the area of land to its original condition.
