A group of Travellers who set up camp on a Birchwood playing field have moved on after the city council took legal action.
The illegal encampment near the Birchwood Leisure Centre caused the Birchwood Colts junior football team to cancel a training session.
But City of Lincoln Council officials have confirmed that the court proceedings they launched last Wednesday led to the caravans leaving at the weekend.
