Legal proceedings have been started in a bid to remove Travellers encamped on a busy Derby car park.
About 40 caravans and other vehicles moved onto the Park and Ride site at Pride Park at the weekend.
The city council said it had served a court order but admitted it could take up to three weeks if the Travellers did not co-operate.
