A group of Travellers has set up camp in New Park, Chichester.
The land is owned by Chichester District Council.
A spokesperson for Chichester District Council said: “A group of Travellers moved onto New Park in Chichester on Thursday. We are working with West Sussex County Council to resolve this as soon as possible under our new agreement to work together on unauthorised encampments.”
There are more than six caravans and cars on the site.
