Outrage as Travellers camp ‘triples in size overnight’ - Aberdeenshire

From the Evening Express

A SECOND wave of Travellers has sparked community outrage after pitching up next to another group in the same car park.

As revealed in the Evening Express last month, four caravans made a base at a park off Panmure Gardens, Potterton, next to a sports ground.

A further eight caravans have now pitched there, prompting residents to plead with authorities to take action.

But Aberdeenshire Council is unable to move the Travellers along because of uncertainty over who owns the land, it was claimed.

One nearby resident, Michelle Milne, 38, said she was concerned after the “group tripled in size” overnight.
