Travellers expected to leave today - Cambridgeshire

From the Peterborough Telegraph

Tuesday, 9.45am: Travellers on land between the A16 and A47 at Dogsthorpe are expected to leave today (September 3).

This is according to Enterprise Peterborough, the organisation which manages illegal camps on behalf of Peterborough City Council.

A spokeswoman said: “There are currently three caravans at Dogsthorpe (between the A16 and A47). These travellers are expected to vacate the site tomorrow.”

Yesterday, a court hearing was taking place as part of eviction proceedings in relation to another illegal camp in Peterborough, that of, eight caravans on the former B&Q site off East Station Road.
