Francis O'Donoghue hunt extends to NI

From the BBC

A man wanted for questioning over a gun attack at a Travellers' site in England may have fled to Northern Ireland, police have said.

Essex police are looking for Francis O'Donoghue, 27, after the incident at Navestock last month.

Two men were injured in the attack on 27 August.

Officers say Mr O'Donoghue might have made contact with members of the travelling community in Northern Ireland and have warned the public not to approach him.

Mr O'Donoghue is described as about 5ft 11in, medium build, with short brown hair and protruding ears.

Martin Ward and his brother John sustained gunshot wounds to the legs and chest after what police called a "neighbour dispute".

They underwent surgery and are now recovering with relatives.

Police said the shooting was the culmination of a disagreement that began outside a shop earlier in the day.
