Travellers have returned to a Cambridge industrial estate – for at least the eighth time.
Three caravans have arrived outside businesses in Robert Davies Court, East Chesterton, on land which is owned by Cambridge City Council.
Jane Connell, a solicitor for the authority, confirmed the council had gone to court to force the travellers to move on.
She said: “The council has a possession order and has applied for a warrant of eviction.”
Ms Connell said the Travellers would be evicted as soon as bailiffs were available.
Caravans have been set up in Robert Davies Court or in nearby Trinity Hall Farm industrial estate on at least seven occasions in the past.
Some business owners have complained about the mess left by Travellers when they leave.
