Travellers who were illegally camped on privately owned fields in Knowl Hill have been moved on by police.
The families moved their caravans and towing vehicles onto land just off Knowl Hill Common at the end of July.
They were served with an eviction notice and left on Sunday, but many have now moved to land near Stubbings House in Henley Road.
Landowners Brenham Estates will be responsible for cleaning up the site.
The Travellers were evicted because the number of vehicles on the land swelled to more than six.
“Initially there were only four vehicles on the site so we couldn’t do anything,” said a Thames Valley Police spokesman.
“But then others have joined them and the eviction order must have been served when it moved over six vehicles.”
The Royal Borough said it will keep a watching brief on the situation, but said the matter was out of its jurisdiction because the Travellers are camped on private land.
Travellers are not wanted anywhere whether it be on there own land or pulled at the side of the road they are persecuted wherever they go, they are a hated minority of people who just want to get on with there own way of life they have lived for thousands of years.
