Travellers defend moving into Technip’s car park - Aberdeenshire

A GROUP of Travellers who set up camp in an oil firm’s car park today insisted they “are doing no harm”.


The group of about 30 Travellers are pitched on land leased by Technip, near the Tesco store in Westhill.

The group – who arrived on Friday – said they posed no threat to the community.

Layton Lee said: “Aberdeen is a nice place. We came up to see family who are up here.

“We are doing no harm. It’s a peaceful area and we like coming here.”
