Housing and Traveller Sites Plan Consultation - Surrey

From Mole Valley District Council

Friday 10 January - Friday 7 March 2014
Help decide where new homes should be built in Mole Valley

The Housing and Traveller Sites Plan will identify where the Council considers new housing and Traveller sites should be built in the period to 2026.

The document sets out all of the sites suggested to the Council and assesses their suitability for future development. Not all of the sites will be allocated and we need your feedback on which sites you think are the most suitable. This consultation is an important stage in the development of the Housing and Traveller Sites Plan.

Comments can also be e-mailed to planning.policy@molevalley.gov.uk or sent to the Council Offices (Pippbrook, Dorking, RH4 1SJ). Hard copies of the consultation documents are also available to view at Pippbrook, the Leatherhead HelpShop and all libraries.

There are also a number of Drop-in events taking place across the District.
Minor Green Belt Boundary Changes

The Council is also taking this opportunity to look at the boundary of the Green Belt to see if there are any parts of it where minor changes to its alignment should be made to ensure it is still logical and follows recognisable physical features on the ground. These areas are marked by purple circles on the map below and the document can also be viewed on the online consultation portal.
Supporting Documents

The Housing and Traveller Sites Plan consultation document provides a summary of the main issues at each site. More detailed information is available in the Supporting and Evidence Base documents. These documents are all available to view on the online consultation portal.
Find a site

The map below can be used to view the sites put forward throughout the district. It is also possible to search the map using the Site Reference (if known) or with an address/postcode. By selecting a site on the map the site reference and name will appear. Clicking on the site name will link directly to the relevant site appraisal in the consultation document.
