From Biggleswade Today
Central Beds Council’s sustainable communities overview and scrutiny committee will be discussing the Gypsy and Traveller Local Plan again today (Tuesday, January 14).
Councillors will consider which additional pitches or sites they will be adding to the plan.
They will be extending the plan’s scope until 2031, necessitating the proposal of 99 pitches in addition to the 66 which were identified last year.
The committee’s suggestions will then go to the council’s executive meeting next Tuesday.
Today’s meeting, which is open to the public, begins at 2pm in the council chamber at Priory House, Chicksands.
