Caravans arrive in town early for Seamer Horse Fair

From the Scarborough News

Travellers have started to arrive in Scarborough ahead of this year’s Seamer Horse Fair.

A make shift camp has appeared on land at Scarborough Business Park in Eastfield, more than a week before the aunnail fair takes place on July 15.

Scarborough Council sets aside a designated site to house the influx of caravans, off the B1261 between Seamer and Crossgates, however this does not open until July 9.

Bosses at the authority have announced this year CCTV will be used for the first time to combat potential disturbances.
