Travellers break into land to set up an illegal camp - Aberdeen

Travellers have broken into a locked plot of land to set up a new camp in Aberdeen.

About 15 caravans have been parked at the vacant lot, towards the bottom of Urquhart Road, since Wednesday.

A worker at a neighbouring business, who did not want to be named, said: “The whole yard was full at one point but we think that some of them have moved on today.

“It is a nightmare. Three gates were broken so they could get in.”
