From the Guardian
Recent news stories about children being removed from Roma families have highlighted the importance of avoiding stereotyping Gypsies, Roma and Travellers in the media. So we're teaming up with the European Roma Rights Centre to find out more about what contemporary Roma life is really like for families around the world. We'd love you to help us by telling us about your own family.
Wherever you are, introduce us to your family. Show us a picture and tell us a bit about the people you live with. For example:
Who's the bossiest person in your family?
Who makes you laugh the most?
Who's the messiest/tidiest?
What's your typical Sunday (or special occasion) dinner?
What do you enjoy doing together in your free time?
How many people do you think of as family?
To take part, click on the blue 'contribute' button – or download the free GuardianWitness app to contribute from your smartphone. Make sure you use the 'photo' tab and tell us about your family in the 'description' box under your photo.
