From the Bolton News
TRAVELLERS remain on a patch of land owned by Bolton Council.
More than 20 caravans and vehicles — including two horses — arrived up at the NCP-run Railway Triangle car park on Sunday, but were served notice to move on within 24 hours.
The group vacated the temporary site and moved on to another patch of land opposite a car park in Chorley Street.
The council served another notice on the new site, and maintaining its original stance, but the group has not moved on.
The council says the legal process to remove the Travellers is “under way”.
A spokesman said: “We are aware of the presence of the Travellers.
“We have a legal process to follow in order to remove them from the site and this process is under way.”
