Travellers set up camp at park and ride site - Aberdeen

Travellers have set up camp at the park and ride site on the outskirts of Ellon.

Half a dozen caravans arrived in the car park over the weekend.

A spokesman for the families said they expected to continue their journey south within a few days. One caravan resident said: “It’s our way of life, and we are not doing any harm.”

The site, just off the main A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road, has been used as a temporary pitch for a number of years.
