Order made to evict travellers from Chichester park - Sussex

An order to evict Travellers from a Chichester park was heard at Chichester Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, July 4).

Chichester District Council made the application after a group of Travellers moved on to Florence Park in Florence Road.

A spokesman for Chichester District Council said: “The group did not leave Florence Park as directed by 5pm yesterday (Monday July, 2). An application has been made to Chichester Magistrates’ Court seeking an order that the vehicles and caravans be removed.”
