More Travellers Set Up Camp in Leigh Park - Hampshire

An encampment of Travellers are currently at Barncroft Way at the junction of Stockheath Lane, Leigh Park. There are 12 caravans and number of vehicles on site.

Havant Borough Council has visited the site and have started the process of repossession through legal proceedings.

Until such time as we can reclaim the land, Havant Borough Council will continue to work closely with Hampshire Constabulary to ensure that the proper procedures within the law are followed.

Another encampment of five caravans at Fulflood Road are still on site. This is privately owned land and Havant Borough Council are continuing to work closely with the managing agent for repossession and securing of the site.
