Plans for three controversial Travellers' sites in Leicestershire will be reviewed by councillors today. Hundreds of people oppose plans to develop the plots in Redhill Way, Greengate Lane and Beaumont Way in Birstall.
The results of the review into the sites will be discussed by the city council's scrutiny commission today. The report suggests one of the sites at Beaumont Way is rejected as it's too small but it identifies two others as suitable instead.
Leicester Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby had asked for a detailed look at the way potential areas had been identified.
