Thousands head to Appleby

From ITV

Thousands of members of the Gypsy and Traveller communities are arriving in Cumbria ahead of the annual Appleby Horse Fair.

The 5 day event starts tomorrow and is the largest of it's kind in Europe. 40 thousand visitors are expected to visit the town over the course of the weekend and the Fair remains an important event for all involved.

Horse enthusiasts told ITV News that the public have been great while they have been passing through villages.
As the air looms, excitement builds and even more people are expected to arrive in Cumbria over the coming days.
