Council asks Travellers to move four caravans parked at the A4 Portway Park and Ride - Bristol

BRISTOL City Council has asked Travellers to move four caravans which have been parked up at the A4 Portway Park and Ride over the weekend.

Residents alerted the council after spotting the caravans.

A council spokesman said: "The council has advised the Travellers to move from the park and ride site - if they do not we will begin legal proceedings."

He said officers were due to visit the site this morning to ask the Travellers to leave.
