Stockton Gypsy sites proposal should be scrapped, says council leader Bob Cook- Yorkshire

Proposals for six new Gypsy and Traveller sites in Stockton should be scrapped due to a “phenomenal” rejection from the public, says the leader of Stockton Council.

Councillor Bob Cook will ask the authority’s cabinet to approve a recommendation to return to the drawing board to find new, suitable sites for the travelling community in the borough.
