Northampton Town is to make an application to remove a number of caravans that have moved in to a car park next to Sixfields Stadium.
The caravans arrived yesterday and a spokesman for the Cobblers said the club had been in discussion with the Northamptonshire Travellers liaison officer to find out when they would be leaving.
