Essex County Council serve court summons to Travellers on Coldharbour Road

A group of travellers parked up on Coldharbour Road have been served with a court summons by Essex County Council.

A number of caravans have been on Coldharbour Road - land owned by Essex County Council - since last week.

According to county hall, the group were issued a direction to leave notice on Thursday, July 10 but have now asked for a court order to repossess the land after the group did not move on.
