Latton Common Travellers: No eviction notice served on main group admits council - Essex

Over a week ago, there were three illegal camps on Latton Common. A group of three to four way at the top of the common. A second small group at the top but nearer to the middle and then a large group of twenty to thirty caravans and cars near to the A414.

Last week, the press were sent a press release that said that “a number of illegal encampments” had been sent an eviction notice.

Of course, us press should check our facts because now we have found out that the main group ( the one near the A414) has not been served with a notice at all!
