Harlow Council call on Essex Police to do more about illegal Traveller encampments

Harlow Council is calling on Essex Police to do more to tackle illegal Traveller encampments in the town.

There are currently four illegal encampments in Harlow, 34 caravans are parked up on Latton Common, seven on Harlow Common and six caravans on Colharbour Road - land owned by Essex County Council. A further seven caravans on the privately-owned Nortel site on London Road.
