Fake clothes at Stow Gypsy fair seized by police -Gloucestershire

MORE than 300 fake clothes and accessories were seized from this year's Stow Fair.


Gloucestershire police and the county council's trading standards team were at the event looking for counterfeit accessories.

Forged items confiscated included 56 pairs of Nike trainers, 17 bags and 50 scarves in the style of Louis Vuitton, 16 Dior bags, 30 Gucci scarves, 38 bags and 20 scarves by Chanel and 80 Bulgari sunglasses.

No arrests were made following the finds, but the constabulary confirmed it was still investigating.

Officers also seized £3,390.

Animal health officers were also at the fair to ensure horses were in good health.
