Bridlington Travellers' Site Credited with Fall in Complaints - Yorkshire

Six months after it opened, a report says a new site for Travellers' in Bridlington is helping cut the number of illegal camps.


There have been 96 complaints about Travellers in the last year, down from 103 the year before.

The new Travellers' site on Woldgate is said to have helped bring down the numbers.

Paul Abbott from East Riding of Yorkshire Council says the site hasn't just helped Travellers. (Radio interview with Paul Abbott of East Riding of Yorkshire Council).
