TRAVELLERS have set up camp on a Fylde coast business park.
Around 12 caravans arrived at Whitehills Business Park on Hallam Way, Marton, (above) on Tuesday night.
The Travellers are said to have come to the area to celebrate St Patrick’s Day on Saturday and have assured police they will be gone by Monday.
A police spokesman said: “We received a call from a concerned resident at around 10.30pm on Tuesday. Caravans arrived through the night and yesterday there were 12 on the site.
“Officers have been out to speak to the occupants and have been told the site will be cleared by Monday.
“However we have advised them our officers will make regular checks throughout the next few days and the council has been informed.”
