THE judicial review into whether Travellers can stay at the Hemley Hill site started on Wednesday.
The hearing began at The Administrative Courts of Justice, London and a decision is expected in the next few weeks.
Traveller, Kathleen Murphy, appealed against a planning inspector's decision which said they had to leave the site near Princes Risborough within 18 months.
At the proceedings on Wednesday the travellers were represented by Alan Masters, the secretary of state by James Maurici and Wycombe District Council by Robin Green.
It continued onto the Thursday.
The judge reserved his decision and will give it in writing at a later date.
