Travellers are bypassing eviction legislation by moving to locations around Dagenham.
The group arrived at Eastbrookend Cemetery in Dagenham on November 1, moved to Central Park in Dagenham two weeks later after being served an eviction notice and are now back at Eastbrookend in the country park car park near Dagenham Road.
A Barking and Dagenham Council spokesman said: “They are currently on the car park of Eastbrookend Country Park, and again we are going through the correct legal process to obtain an eviction notice.
“We can assure users of the Country Park that we are doing everything we can to secure an eviction as soon as possible.”
