Decision on Traveller site plans deferred - Essex

A DECISION on controversial plans to vary planning conditions at a Travellers’ site in Weeley have been deferred.

Tom Doran wants permission to use a stable building as a utility room and day room at his authorised three-pitch caravan site in Gutteridge Hall Lane.

Tendring Council was set to discuss the plans at a meeting of the planning committee at Clacton Town Hall on Tuesday.

But a decision was deferred so councillors could be given a report with reasons why previous plans for extra caravans at the same site were refused.
