Gypsy and Traveller Site Allocations - Warwickshire

From Warwick District Council

Call for Sites

The Council is required, by national planning policy (NPPF) and the Housing Act 2004, to objectively assess and meet the needs of the population within their area. This includes the needs of the Gypsy and Traveller community.

To meet this need Warwick District Council is committed to allocating sustainable and affordable sites to meet the permanent residential needs of this District's Gypsy and Traveller Community through the Local Plan process.

To enable allocations to be made in the Local Plan the Council is undertaking a 'Call for Sites' for potential sites within the District to be identified. The sites identified through this process will be assessed in terms of their suitability and deliverability through the production of the Local Plan.

We are therefore inviting submissions with information about any land within the District that could be allocated for this use.

In submitting sites for the process the following information will be required:

A list of sites, cross-referenced to maps showing the locations and boundaries of specific sites;
The identification of any constraints and recommendations as to how they can be overcome and when;

We require assistance in finding detailed information regarding these headings and would gratefully receive information regarding the characteristics of the site as detailed in the Call for Sites form below.
