Imberhorne nursery to become Travellers site? Town trader ‘devastated’. - Sussex

EAST Grinstead nurseryman Michael Dongray has been left devastated by news that his garden business in Imberhorne Lane may shortly be closed for use as a Travellers site.

Michael has been leasing land next to the town dump from Mid Sussex District Council since 1 January 1987.

But two days ago a regular customer alerted him to the fact that the nursery has been earmarked by the District Council as a potential new home for 12 Traveller families.
