A group of Travellers have upset a community after setting up camp next to a war memorial in Bradford.
They were condemned by the British Legion and council members after parking up near the Cenotaph in Low Moor.
Jeffrey Long, a member of the Bradford Central branch of the British Legion, said: ‘One cannot describe the feeling, really. What words can you say?
‘The word is gutted – I really am gutted. I was so relieved they apologised.
