A PETITION calling on the district council to abandon plans to evict an East Grinstead business and build a Gypsy and Travellers' site in the town has gained more than 1,000 signatures.
The online document was launched after Mid Sussex District Council identified two sites – one in Burgess Hill and one in Imberhorne Lane, East Grinstead – to provide permanent gypsy and traveller accommodate.
