OXFORD: A group of Travellers who pitched up at the Kassam Stadium overflow car park have moved on.
Residents living in Falcon Close, Blackbird Leys said the group left yesterday. Oxfordshire County Council officers and police refused to get involved after the travellers set up camp up behind the Vue Cinema in Grenoble Road, which is privately owned land, on Friday, June 28.
Firoka, which owns the site, said it planned to serve the Travellers an eviction notice.
The company was not available for comment.
