Travellers moved their cars and caravans from land in Peacock Lane after they were asked to leave.
The group left on Saturday morning after the consortium of developers from neighbouring Jennett's Park, served them notice to leave.
A spokeswoman for the consortium confirmed they left by 11am on Saturday.
The five caravans and five cars were parked near Peacock Farm pub last Wednesday at around 2.30pm.
After the encampment was set up, police visited the site and patrolled it, liaising with the landowner and the council.
