Travellers move from Aberdeen site

A MAJOR clear-up was required after Travellers moved on from an Aberdeen site earmarked for a new £10 million police base.

The Travellers’ group – with more than a dozen caravans – was camped next to Great Northern Road in Aberdeen.

Masses of litter and waste, including a leather sofa, had to be cleared up following the Travellers’ departure from the Aberdeen site, which Grampian Police will be using as part of an expansion to their Kittybrewster base.
