OUR local authorities are not acting quickly enough to remove the groups of Gypsies and Travellers who run amok on public land and residents are saying, enough is enough.
Last Friday (June 27) the first group of Travellers arrived in the Thor Drive area off Norse Road in Bedford and it wasn’t long until they were dumping all manner of items, including a washing machine, onto grassland near a children’s football pitch.
