TRAVELLERS moved on to a field near HMS Collingwood in Fareham last night.
A group of 20 vehicles moved on to land off Newgate Lane, at about 8pm.
The group parked near the Windhover roundabout before moving on to the field.
Police were called out, but took no action.
Inspector Scott Johnson, from Hampshire Police, said: ‘They have been travelling round looking for somewhere to stay. We have not been informed that there’s any criminal activity linked to them.’
