Selby District Council is resubmitting the planning application for the proposed Traveller site at Burn Airfield today (Monday 3 June).
This enables the council to widen the range of people consulted as part of the planning application process.
A new application, however, will mean that comments previously received will need to be re-submitted.
The land is owned by the Homes and Communities Agency who have been fully engaged in the process, but the land is leased to a third party.
