SIX Travellers' caravans are parked up at Sevenoaks Community Centre in Bat and Ball.
Their owners turned up yesterday afternoon.
The land is owned by Sevenoaks Town Council, whose chief executive Linda Larter told the Chronicle that measures were being put in place to ensure they vacate the site.
She said: "There is official action that has to be taken.
"They (the Travellers) are having their welfare checked today - this will determine how and when we can put a notice to quit on them
"We have reported this to the police and spoken to the Travellers individually.
"They are telling us they are going to move on tonight."
