Travellers in Aberdeen hit all-time high - Aberdeenshire

From the Evening Express

THE numbers of rogue Travellers in Aberdeen hit an all-time high this week, according to council chiefs.

An estimated 70 caravans were stopped across Aberdeen at seven unauthorised camps.

Today Aberdeen City Council’s finance chief Willie Young said the influx was the biggest on record and branded the situation “ridiculous”.

However, a Traveller at the King’s Links in Aberdeen, a mum-of-three, said she was desperate for a permanent site to be built in the Aberdeen area.
